Leadership formed beside still waters
A book for leaders who are done pretending. For kingdom CEOs, directors, pastors and decision makers who carry pressure in silence, and who know their leadership is meant to heal, not harm.

The book
An elder who has seen war, betrayal, moral failure, grief and restoration. A leader who refuses to let you confuse intensity with strength, or success with wholeness.
If you don’t learn to return to still waters, you will lead from fear.
If you don’t restore your soul, power will amplify what’s unresolved.
If you don’t walk undivided, your impact will cost you more than you can afford.
A call to leaders to rise clean-handed, steady-hearted and restrained.
Inside the book
Each chapter follows a season of David’s life, from shepherd to king, and draws out what it means for leaders carrying weight today.
Why I wrote it
“Leadership is never neutral. It either contributes to healing, or it compounds harm.”
This book was born from frontline trauma work and child protection, from standing with individuals and families in the aftermath of violence, neglect, loss and fear.
Over twenty years I’ve seen that healing speeds up or stalls depending on the leaders around it. Leaders who can return to stillness create places where others can recover. That question, of who leaders should be and not just what they should do, led me back again and again to David.
